REAL V. STEAL: TRANSITIONAL DAY-NIGHT OUTFIT IDEAS USING ASYMMETRICAL SKIRTS
I've been on an asymmetrical skirt kick lately. They're easy-to-wear, comfy and can be dressed up or down. Now that the weather is becoming somewhat nicer, I like to toss one on with a pair of flip flops or flats and a soft, casual tank during the day. At night, I'll spruce it up with a few gold or silver jewelry accents (like the uniquely funky 'Brass Lighter Ring' by Monserat De Lucca - featured below), watch, classic hoops, booties and a leather jacket for a simple yet chic transitional outfit, perfect for Summer. I tend to keep my asymmetrical skirts basic color-wise and not stray towards prints or patterns, that way accessories can be played up a bit more. . .

'2 SISTERS 7 SINS:' ANTONINA DOLANI FOR BEN TROVATO
Ben Trovato pumps out more unbelievably beautiful shoots (by such talented photographers) than I can keep up with. I was actually attracted to this particular one through their Instagram @bentrovatoblog (the single picture was intriguing enough to check out the rest of them).
From Submarine models, Malwina convincingly channels two opposite personas, meant to be twin sisters with extremely differing styles. Of the inspiration behind the shoot, Deloni says that "At first sight they are totally different but on the since they are similar...I wanted to show how different they could look, while knowing how similar they are."
Glowing pastels, rosy cheeks, color-streaked hair and one awesome feather crown combine together to create a truly beautiful photo set. Antonina's photography skills really bring this one to life, and the lighting has such a warmth to it - it's almost as if you can feel the heat of the sun on your skin.

'HEAT SEEKER:' BRUNA TENORIO FOR FLARE CANADA (JULY 2012)
Aside from the incredible suits and jackets, one of my favorite details about this shoot was Tenorio's ridiculously bright eyeliner and shadows that gave her sultry eyes a neon glow, even more enhanced by the lens work of Chris Nicholls (who never ceases to produce unparalleled work).

'DREAMS OF VENICE:' SIMEN PLATOU + CLAUDIA MIREA FOR BENTROVATO
I cannot wait to be back down in LA again next weekend. I'm craving warm weather, Venice, palm tree-speckled hills, wandering Sunset Blvd and the beach. It was no doubt that this shoot by Simen Platou - appropriately titled Dreams of Venice -ended up being the perfect one to share. Check out Claudia Mirea 'riding with the boys with dope feminine style' in West LA:

'BOTANICAL EXTRACTS:' RIANNE HASPELS FOR MARIE CLAIRE UK (JULY 2012)
Captured by the lens of Frederick Pinet, Rianne Haspels stuns in this Summer's latest prints, wearing silky, sheer pieces that make me wish I was on a beach wearing a bikini in need of a cover up! Such exotic florals and patterns - the lace, tailoring and detailing makes each piece so unique and beautiful . .

'HOT & BOTHERED:' ZIMMERMANN RESORT 2012 CAMPAIGN + VIDEO
This week's upcoming posts scream SUMMER: bikinis, pops of neon, airy, silky pieces and photos to bring out the wanderlust in you.
Kicking it off with the latest from Zimmermann (their Resort 2012 Campaign), this set of photos is a bit...steamier than their High Summer Campaign I posted a while back, and the video after the jump sums it all up pretty nicely.
To give you a better idea, HYPEMUCH got "all hot and bothered" from it and Oyster used the phrase "damn girl" while describing the campaign video, dubbing Snoop Dogg & Pharrell's 'Drop It Like It's Hot' the soundtrack to the enticing clip, "without a doubt."
The resort collection drops in stores in July, so snag yours while they're hot because these bikinis definitely won't be in stock for long. Lensed by Simon Lekias, models Nicole Pollard and Lydia Collins rock the Australian swimwear line's newest pieces:
