NEW INTENTIONS: "LET US READ, AND LET US DANCE"

Lately I've been making a real effort to start reading again.  The other day I realized that I couldn't remember the last great book I'd read.  On that note - any recommendations (that don't include the words "fifty," "shades," or "grey")?
